From Petals to Promise:
A Ring Rooted in Care

What kind of ring belongs on the hand of someone who spends her days among flowers? For Bonnie, a gardener whose life is rooted in tending and creating, the answer bloomed in a custom design where a rose-cut diamond opened like a delicate blossom at the center of her halo.

Her ring drew inspiration from the luminous softness of French Blue, touched with the depth of Renoir. The rose-cut natural diamond, set low against the finger, was crafted intentionally, allowing her to wear it comfortably as she works with the earth, yet still carrying the brilliance of a flower in bloom.

This lovely couple chose the Van Gogh Band, a piece defined by bold, textured brushstrokes. Placed beside Bonnie’s Renoir-inspired ring, the two designs feel like a dialogue between artists: Renoir’s tender light meeting Van Gogh’s expressive lines, brought together in a shared promise.

At Le Conte, each jewel is a brushstroke. For Bonnie & Marc, those strokes came together to paint their love, completing a symbol as natural and radiant as their bond.

Her Ring

The Cerulean is a study in balance- soft yet structured, fluid yet precise. It was the second piece in our Impasto collection, following Potter’s Pink, and it carries within it the clarity of water itself. At its center rests an unheated sapphire, its shape somewhere between cushion and oval, luminous in its purity and alive with shifting light.

Encircling the stone is an asymmetric halo: one side traced in diamonds, the other shaped by a brushstroke of textured gold. The stroke narrows to a pointed edge, placed inward with intention so that its artistry is felt without disturbing the hand that wears it.

Every detail was conceived to echo the painter’s gesture, the brush meeting canvas, fleeting yet eternal. Cerulean is not only a jewel, but a quiet composition, holding the essence of fluid color and sculpted light in harmony.

Artist's Statement

The Renoir captures Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s textured brushstrokes with nine brilliant round diamonds encircling the center diamond to create a lustrous golden halo. This design is a bold yet timeless option for an engagement ring or a vintage-inspired heirloom.
