The Golden Carrot is a fine jewelry boutique in Charlotte, North Carolina, loved for its thoughtful curation and whimsical charm.
Over the years, it has become a special destination for those who look for jewelry that feels both personal and poetic.
From delicate everyday pieces to modern heirlooms, every corner of the shop carries Nicole’s gentle yet distinctive taste- a kind of magic that makes each visit feel warm and memorable.
A Shared Vision
When I shared the early drafts, Nicole wrote back saying she was also designing an oval framed charm inspired by Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit and the passage of time – an hourglass, bunnies, and soft storybook symbols for her shop.
I was deeply touched by her openness in sharing her own creative process. It reminded me that the most meaningful collaborations are born from honesty and mutual admiration - when two artists simply connect and create with genuine respect.
We both laughed at how our visions aligned without even planning it.It felt like a full-circle moment – two designers on the same wavelength, celebrating artistry, memory, and playfulness through the language of jewelry. 🐇💛
Cosmic Cottontail Bunny
We reimagined The Golden Carrot’s signature bunny character in Le Conte’s painterly style - a piece that blends artistic detail with a minimal silhouette.
True to Le Conte’s essence, the pendant features a delicate brushstroke texture and storytelling touches, capturing a golden moment in metal.
The moonstone tail is my favorite part - a tiny glimmer that adds a dreamy finish.
Nicole also thoughtfully guided the chain selection to make sure it felt just right for TGC fans. This collaboration became a celebration of friendship, artistry, and a shared dream, and we’re proud to have added a little sparkle to such a meaningful milestone.
To me, jewelry is a motif that awakens stories - the kind of pieces that make people pause and share when they received it, or why it means so much. Every jewel becomes a small beginning to a larger story.
