What’s your favorite color of Sapphire?

Atelier Guide - Gem Story

A Palette of
Nature’s Colors

Likewise opening a paintbox of the universe, Sapphire offers blues of the sea, pinks of twilight on vacation, and yellows of dawn from winter... each one a brushstroke of light.

This is why Le Conte chooses sapphires for so many of our designs...such as Cerulean, Prussian Blue, Red Violet...etc.

To us, Sapphire isn’t just a durable gem (Mohs scale 9) for daily life;
It is nature’s own painting pigment. Emerging in a spectrum of colors, from the full rainbow to pure white. Sapphires embody endless possibilities. We are especially drawn to the unheated sapphires in our collection, with their soft, pastel hues that feel like whispers of light. for the September babies, there would be a lot of choices.

Color from Heaven,
Symbol of Faith & Trust

Historically, sapphires have symbolized truth, loyalty, and divine protection.
In medieval Europe, clergy wore sapphire rings as a sign of purity and wisdom, while kings believed the gem guarded them from harm.
The blue color also came to represent heaven itself, an eternal reminder of faith and trust.

Over the centuries, sapphire grew to embody commitment and devotion, which is why it remains one of the most cherished stones for engagement rings today. Diana also choose Sapphire for her Engagement ring.

And when you see a sapphire in person, you’ll instantly fall in love with the depth and sparkle hidden inside.

Sapphire in Le Conte

“Brushstrokes of
the Night Sky”

This ring is inspired by a single drop of midnight-blue paint diffusing into cloud...where some parts of the sky sink into deeper hues, while others brighten into lighter tones.

The Midnight Blue is adorned with long, buttery-gold brushstrokes.
Regal in spirit, the design recalls a crown, embellished with exquisite blue sapphires that bring movement and depth - echoing their timeless historical value.
